A Destroyer War Badge, by Rudolf Souval consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac the eight smaller star points(Zerstrerkriegsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central destroyer cutting through waves, with its bow extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from an elongated
