Prussia, Kingdom. An 1840 Medallion For The Guard Corps By Heinrich Franz Brandt United Republic of 2nd Class for NCO's and(Erinnerungsmedaille 1840 fr das Garde Corps). Instituted 1 December 1827. (1840 issue). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a raised leftward facing profile of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, with a central inscription of ERINNERUNG (IN MEMORY), circumscribed by dates of birth and death, the obverse maker marked BRANDT F., measuring 45 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
