Japan, Empire. An Order of The Rising Sun, IV Class Newly Listed Two Second War Campaign Stars(, Kyokujitsu sh) Institution Date: April 10, 1875 by Emperor Meiji. A Japanese Order of the Rising Sun, IV Class in silver with a red cabochon centerpiece and white enamelled rays. The star is affixed to an enamelled Paulownia Flower suspension consisting of three groupings of purple flowers counting 5,7,5, with Kanji on the reverse.
