Germany, Wehrmacht. A Spanish Cross, Bronze Grade, Non-Combatant Conversion Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic Township of Sandfield(Spanienkreuz in Bronze ohne Schwerter). Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a vaulted Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 55. 85 mm (w) x 56. 85 mm (h), weighing 27. 7 grams, a pair of crossed swords formerly piercing the awards centrepiece have been cut down at
