An Early Cased Luftwaffe Observers Badge By Assmann Auction London Gazette 16 February 1904Badge in nickel silver, eagle, wreath silvered, brass catch, an excellent early quality badge by maker Assmann (marked by company logo on reverse), weighs 42. 4 grams, textbook example, with very nice details and polished silvered highlights, in hardly worn condition, near mint; in blue case of issue (case extremely fine).
