The quartz epidote axinite mineralisation was evidently caused by hydrothermal activity related to the doleritic sills which are in close proximity to the occurrence

It was collected many years ago from a large open cut gold mine at Reedys near Cue in Western Australia

Dimensions approximately 160mm x 65mm x 10mm thick

The subtle lime green colouration is caused by the presence of nickel mineralisation. Dimensions at widest points approximately 145 mm x 80 mm x 7. 5 mm thick. Weighs 170 grams. From Yerilla, north of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
