Nicholas works with Savagnin in Jura, and Frantz works in Burgundy's Macon region. In 2020, when France was locked down, they were unable to travel to see each other. To make sure they would never be prohibited from visiting each other again, they went into business together with this wine. They planted a bit of Savagnin from Nicholas' vines in Frantz's Burgundy vineyards, so if ever another pandemic
